Sharon Goreham: I cannot recommend Matt Stone enough for ADI training. After I failed my first part 3 exam miserably I started training with Matt, my confidence was at an all-time low and I was at a point where I was close to throwing in the towel, Matt quite literally picked me up, dusted me off and put me on the right track, he worked tirelessly to build my confidence and made sure I never gave up, he truly believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.
Today I had my second attempt at my part 3 and half an hour before his words were still ringing in my ears “YOU CAN DO THIS”…. I passed with almost top marks throughout, I can’t thank him enough!!
3 months later: Hi Matt, it’s Sharon Gorham… the lady that cried… a lot!! I just wanted to get in touch as I had a lady pass today on her 6th attempt, she had 2 previous instructors and failed 3 tests (not surprising considering she had no idea how to negotiate multi lane roundabouts!), apart from that she was a great driver but her confidence was at an all-time low, her situation reminded her a lot of me and my training and once again it made me appreciate what you did for me, it was probably the most emotional pass I’ve ever had and really brought it home why I do this job. Last night i text her to say ‘YOU CAN DO THIS’ the words you used the morning of my test and meant so much to me seemed to mean the world to her too. She gave me a fantastic review and it just reminded me what you did for me, once again I wanted to say thank you (although somehow it just doesn’t seem enough), it means more to me than you’ll ever know and I think about it and appreciate it every day when I get in my car and see my green badge… I still doubt myself and have dips in confidence, but I love it and wouldn’t have it any other way! THANK YOU, I couldn’t have done it without you!
